Chestnut Hill Memorial Park is a scenic and historic cemetery located in Cuyahoga Falls. Known for its beautiful, peaceful grounds, mature trees, and small pond attracting visitors for both remembrance and nature appreciation.

As conceived by its ecologist founder, Carl F. Graefe in 1925, Chestnut Hill is designed around two vital human needs – an attractive and peaceful resting place for the deceased, and a need to conserve natures prime resources for the enjoyment and survival of the living.

After several years of planning actual construction started in 1926. The first burial was in September of 1928. Chestnut Hill, once part of the Babb Farm, and named from the native chestnut trees that formerly grew on its seven hills. From its conception Chestnut Hill has attracted naturalists, artists, horticulturists, ornithologists, photographers, and naturally relatives and friends who come to visit the final resting places of loved ones. Under the guidance of the Cemetery Management the planning and development has always taken into consideration the natural beauty of this hallowed ground.
