It’s always comforting and pleasant to run into him.
The grounds were looking absolutely beautiful when we visited last. They were painstakingly manicuring the lawn and grounds, into the evening. Thank you Chestnut Hill for caring for us and our family.

I just visited the Memorial Park today May 9, 2025. I was so impressed. They have a new crew and this is the best my Mom’s grave has looked in years. They also came and helped with with place the vase on the headstone. They were so helpful. The park looks so much better since this new crew has taken over. Thanks guys!!

It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful setting to bury a loved one. Hills, trees, flowers, statuary and monuments. This is the complete package.

We purchased 4 large burial gravesites several years ago, and we are very pleased with the whole process including on-going support. Jim was great to work with and found a wonderful location for our family burial sites. I was very concerned to find the best location for my father and mother and Jim was very patient and kind and offered creative solutions that best fit our family’s needs. He really is outstanding. Kim in the office is also great to work with and really has a strong attention to the details and is super kind and friendly. Then, as the years have gone on, Alex, the regional grounds manager, has done an outstanding job with maintaining our family gravesites. I was recently at the cemetery and he helped me with leaf blowing and gave me advice and help on soil and seeding. He really went above and beyond. They are a great team and we are very grateful for their support and help through the years.

My wife and I just spoke to Jim about pre-planning for burial expenses. We found Jim very easy to talk to and very pleasant and very informative. There were no pressure sales and we even some shared some laughter. If you’re looking to get this done I would definitely include Chestnut Memorial cemetery on your list of possible choices.

My sincerest appreciation for the outstanding effort made by Kim Whitney, Administrator at Chestnut Hill Memorial Gardens. Back in 2015 I purchased a space in the memorial garden close to where my parents were buried. Recently upon closer inspection I discovered there was an unoccupied space immediately next to my mother’s space. Kim assumed responsibility for my request to be next to my parents, and handled the coordination with another family who owned the space. She worked it out so the remains for both families will one day be placed side by side to everyone’s mutual satisfaction. Thanks to Kim’s personal attention, I can rest for eternity with my parents. I can’t tell you how appreciative I am. Growing up a few blocks away from the duck pond back in the 50’s formed a lasting memory. I passed the same tradition to my three children. Chestnut Hill is a special place in all our lives. p.s. Jim Brearley has been very helpful over the years in making all the arrangements required too.

My baby boy Rhythm recently passed and Jim and everyone there made my wife and I feel very comfortable . They really went the extra mile for us regarding his headstone and we appreciate them greatly. THANK YOU…
